STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
We aim to provide a safe, warm place where young people aged 11 to 18 can meet to have fun, learn new skills and develop respect for themselves, each other, their community and surroundings.

Our vision is that we will all:
Learn....
How our actions impact upon others and the environment
That our decisions today will affect our future
That by channelling our energy / emotions we can make things happen

Achieve....
Recognition for our volunteering efforts

Work together....
To enable the club and all those involved with it to fulfil their potential.

ABOUT THE CLUB
Education Centre The Erddig Youth Club is unique. It is not simply a youth club but is linked closely to The National Trust, a charity that looks after the Erddig estate and surrounding countryside. It was set up in 1999 as a joint venture between Offa Community Council and The National Trust.
The National Trust allow the Erddig Youth Club to use the Countryside Centre at Felin Puleston for free throughout the year. In return they ask that members undertake some conservation work on the estate. This can be anything from picking up litter and mowing the grass to building footpaths.
The club is open every Monday and Wednesday evening from 6.30 to 9.00pm, excluding bank holidays and for 2 weeks at Christmas. If you are aged 11 to 18 and would like to join come along to one of the sessions, if you like it we will ask you to complete a membership form. Alternatively you can contact a member of staff on 01978 315179.

Directions – from the Wrexham / Rhostyllen road take the turning signposted Erddig, then take the first left turn signposted Felin Puleston. The club is located on the right hand side adjacent tot eh cottage. If you are walking / cycling there is a footbridge connecting the Felin Puleston car park to the Industrial Estate.

When at the club you can enjoy playing a variety of sports including football, cricket, volleyball and rounders. Of course this depends on the weather, but do not fear for there is enough to keep you occupied inside too.... Pool, table football, Nintendo Wii, table tennis and all sorts of crafty bits and pieces if you are feeling creative.
As well as the annual pool competition, water fight and Halloween Party we also arrange trips such as Alton Towers, Ice Skating, Ten Pin Bowling, Sleepovers and even overnight stays in Dublin. All of these are dependant on demand. As the club has a limited budget priority is given to committed, loyal members who contribute to the club through their volunteering / conservation endeavours.
